Jordan Chancey is a REALTOR® & Broker-Associate with RE/MAX Alliance Group. Jordan and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist specializes in unique single-family homes and condos, ranch and land sales, historical homes, commercial properties as well as property management. Jordan is a 6th generation Manatee County resident, giving him a vast knowledge of the area and its history. His impressive list of designations includes CLHMS, CDPE, PPMC, ACP, SRES, and he is currently enrolled in the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) and Seller Representation Specialist (SRS) program. He earned his Broker’s license at the young age of 25. During Jordan’s first eight months at RE/MAX, he received the Rising Star Award, as well as numerous “ agent acknowledgments.

Jordan’s “first love” is real estate and it has been his first and only profession. He began his real estate career in 2005, right out of high school, just as the economy faltered during the infamous “real estate bubble.”

“Even with the challenging start, I knew I wanted to make it work.” "I took classes, earned designations, surrounded myself with industry leaders, networked, and earned my Broker’s license, I strived to absorb as much knowledge as I possibly could to be successful” said Jordan.

“I especially want to encourage other young agents who are just starting out,” said Jordan. “I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard something along the lines of ‘I have socks older than you are.’ I understand that with age comes more knowledge, but we all have to find our way. This award serves as more proof to me that I’ve found my niche, my groove. Every time I help a family find a home, or help someone in a difficult situation, it’s an affirmation that I made the right career choice. The stress, the challenges, it’s all worth it.”

While career is important, Jordan advises agents to keep a healthy work and home life balance. While never an easy task, Jordan credits his wife Megan Hunsader-Chancey with orchestrating the constant surprises that come with raising 4 active children under the age of nine. While both Jordan and Megan have demanding careers, a strong focus on family, faith and education is a cornerstone for a well-rounded and productive life.

Jordan currently serves as president of the Palmetto Historical Commission, which serves as a center to educate and preserve historical articles, preservation, and historical resources in the community. Along with his family, Jordan has also volunteered and supported other regional and local organizations including Ronald McDonald House charities, All Children's Hospital, American Heart Association, Downtown Ministries Bradenton.
